ITEC Diploma Pre-examination Course (Beauty Specialists)

Introduction

ITEC is the largest international examination board offering a variety of qualifications worldwide. ITEC qualifications cover programs in 4 sectors:

• Beauty Therapy
• Complementary Therapy
• Sports Therapy
• Business

ITEC provides 31 qualifications that are UK government accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority, on behalf of the Department for Education and Skills, and are registered on the National Qualifications Framework in the UK. These ITEC qualifications attract funding from the Learning and Skills Council. ITEC also has a number of additional qualifications.

ITEC qualifications have been accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority, on behalf of the Department for Education and Skills in the UK. Qualifications are available in 4 disciplines: Beauty Therapy, Complementary Therapy, Sports Therapy and Business. For each award, ITEC has devised a complete syllabus that stresses both the underpinning knowledge and practical skills required to become a fully qualified therapist. All qualifications comply with the National Occupational Standards where they exist and are supported by the National Training Organizations.

ITEC Examiners will test the theoretical knowledge and practical ability (where applicable) of each and every candidate to ensure that their skills are of a sufficiently high standard to achieve an International Professional Qualification.

Examination

ITEC has devised a complete syllabus that stresses both the underpinning knowledge and practical skills required to become a fully qualified therapist.

1. Skin Care & Eye Care
2. Make Up
3. Nail Treatment (Including : Manicure & Pedicure)
4. Waxing
5. Professional Conduct & Business

Examination Module :

• Profile – Must Complete before the examination
• Theory – M.C. questions(candidate can answer in Chinese or English)
• Practical – Skin Care (including eyebrow & eye lashes tinting, eyebrow correction & makeup), Manicure & Pedicure, Waxing etc.

Qualification :

1. Completed 400 hours International Professional Beauty Therapist Diploma Course in our College
2. Finished equivalent International Professional Beauty Therapist Diploma Course；or holder of CIDESCO International Diploma, who must study the pre-exam course.
